The Aftermath

Last night was an amazing, powerful full moon.  I have no doubt that many of you read many articles, Facebook posts, and blogs regarding the Full Moon in Leo.  As we are now emerged into the light of day, what exactly does it look like.  I can only speak for myself, and it goes something like this.  Last night, on my way home from the shop, I stopped to grab a Pepsi (for those of you that know me….I don’t drink soda), anyway, I gave into the craving of sweet and bad for you, and ventured on home.  Caught up on some of the tv shows that I had saved from this past week and around 10:30 pm, I ventured into the magic of the full moon.  One of the common denominators of all of the posts that I read this past week, was letting go.  So, with that being said, I did just that.  I cleansed and put my crystals on my windowsill, and begin the process of letting go.

I opened up the pandoras box of days gone by.  There were cards, letters, notes, cocktail napkins, pictures and clothes to attachments.  I read through most of them, some with tears and many with laughter.  At the end of it….I tossed them.  I realized this past week, that you are unable to make room for new while holding on and allowing the past to stand in the way.  I took a whole dresser drawer of items that no longer serve me and just dumped them.  I took old cards, ripped them up and tossed them.  The best part about the whole “ritual” is, I now, on the morning after the full moon, feel much lighter, feel that the heaviness that laid on my chest for years is now gone.  This journey has been lesson, after lesson, after lesson.  The only difference with this past lesson, is I finally LISTENED!

Many times I have cleaned out closets, cabinets and or rooms at a time.  The difference with last night as opposed to the many times before, is I finally cleaned out my heart!  I let go of the heartache, the sadness, the anger, the grudges and most importantly, the worry.  I am thankful for the relationships in my life, for they all have taught me so much and for that THANK YOU!

I am so excited to see where this thing called life is about to take me!  The time is now and the adventure is real!  Buckle up, put your tray table in the upright position and hold on, cause things are about to get GREAT!!!!!!
